What is Sick Care?

Sick Care is how care for minor illness and injury should be: as simple, easy, comfortable, transparently priced, safe, and cost effective as possible by providing urgent care healthcare services delivered to the comfort of your home.

When I was in Medical School, a classmate cut his finger while opening an avocado. Rather than having to go to the ER or Urgent care, he called one of our professors who came over late at night and stitched him up. That experience left an impression on me– Why should care like this be exclusively available for doctors? It was way more convenient, comfortable, affordable than an ER visit, and did not come with the higher risk of acquiring a drug resistant infection or unrelated illness from another sick patient in the waiting room. It is my goal to bring this option to patients in the general public, because it is my sincere belief that it is significantly better for some people in certain situations.
